As 2 members are from Texas it’s not hard to pick out the influence of golden age TX psych idols such as the 13th Floor Elevators & Lost and Found. Night Beats incorporate elements of early R&B, Texas psychedelic rock, English blues rock, folk and soul and have toured with the likes of The Jesus and Mary Chain, The Strange Boys, Black Lips, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, and The Growlers.
