Jameson Rodgers was born and raised in Batesville, MS. From a young age, he had his sights set on both music and baseball. Rodgers passion lead him to a baseball scholarship at Northwest Mississippi Community College where he played for two years. After transferring to the University of Southern Mississippi he started writing songs.
