KAIRO is a Nigerian-born, Houston-raised, LA-based duo comprised of identical twin brothers, AK and EJ. As young black men and immigrants, KAIRO is aware of their unique position in the Alternative Pop space. They want to represent expansion: from genre to borders to boundaries. “We haven’t seen kids that look like us in this alt/pop scene. It’s time.”
