Louis began his career appearing in TV dramas before auditioning for the British music competition 'The X Factor' in 2010. After being eliminated, he was placed into a group with four other contestants to become the boyband One Direction, who became one of the best-selling boy bands of all time. Following the 2016 hiatus, Louis released his debut single in 2016 and his debut album in 2020.
