Pianist Eddie Gripper and his trio opens the night with music from his 2026 album 'Americana', inspired by an 8,000km hitchhiking journey from Alaska to California. The second set belongs to Mark Lockheart’s new trio, Shapeshifter. Known for pushing British jazz forward, Lockheart and his band shift fluidly through jazz, rock and free improvisation.
