Leaning into their own Northern roots, Manchester Collective are joined by the lyrical force that is Christ Bryan, poet-in-residence at Salford’s iconic experimental and underground club The White Hotel. Bryan’s poetry vibrates and crashes into the pulsating rhythms of John Adams’ high-octane Shaker Loops, which pays homage to the communities the American composer grew up near on the East Coast.
