Grimethorpe Colliery Band, founded over a century ago in a Yorkshire mining village, achieved its worldwide reputation from the hit film Brassed Off and is regarded as one of Britain’s finest brass bands. They return to The Apex with a programme of classic brass band repertoire and music from Brassed Off alongside newer works and some entertaining solos.
