Chris Norman first found fame fronting huge 70's hit band Smokie. He left in '86 and started a successful solo career, becoming a massive hit throughout Europe, having had a string of hit singles and albums. His early musical influences included many popular artists such as Elvis, Little Richard and The Beatles.
