Declan Nerney is an Irish singer-songwriter. Born in Drumlish, County Longford, he was influenced by artists on record and those he saw live including The Beatles, Duane Eddy, Elvis Presley and Philomena Begley and Joe Dolan. He taught himself to play guitar and played in a band from 16, moving between bands until he decided to go solo where he proved to become very popular.
