Doomsday Sun's music is doom-laden, harrowing-sounding, aggressive and even sometimes melancholy, generally favouring gravelly, barking vocals, copious amounts of riffs and a fuzzy, gain-rich tone to make listeners feeling like they're drowning in sonic tar. That said, clean, sung vocals are not uncommon, along with intricate melodies and proggier moments.
