LJ DA FUNK is the brainchild of Laughing Horse New Act of the Year finalist 2013, Zak Splijt. A self-styled New York gangster, LJ DA FUNK is loud, brash, and full of energy. LJ tells jokes that are ostensibly idiotic but with wit and wisdom bubbling under the surface. He touches on topics ranging from Enoch Powell and Ugandan homophobia, to his myriad, yet always disastrous, sexual encounters.
