SINGER/SONGWRITER

A country singer from Ballinamuck, County Longford in Ireland. He began an apprenticeship as a carpenter but he longed for a career as a professional country singer so he formed a band and began to entertain in local venues. He spent 12 years doing this part time before finally achieving his goal, recording his debut album in 1986, winning an award for it in 87.
