Often described as 'Half Cash, half Clash', 'Cash' meaning Man In Black for the fiery mixture of classic country spirit and old-school punk energy and defiance, The Waco Brothers were the most successful of the many side projects launched by Jon Langford. Playing tough, defiant music with the rebellious (often political) worldview of punk, they added mandolin, steel guitar and honky-tonk melodies.
