BAND

The Word Alive are a five piece metal band from Arizona who are helping usher in the next evolution of melodic metal. Formed in 2008, their debut EP Empire was released in 2009 which reached number 15 on the Top Heatseekers meeting a great amount of positive acclaim. They gained renown praise for the innovative style of modern metalcore, blending thrash, groove, alternative and ambient elements.
