The respected Hungarian orchestra continues to shine. The programme includes the third of Hungarian composer Liszt's symphonic poems, Beethoven's elegant third piano concerto, Shostakovich's moving and poignant neoclassical Ninth and Tchaikovsky's dramatic Dante-inspired Francesca da Rimini. The orchestra is joined by the internationally acclaimed pianist, Paul Lewis CBE.
