A musical odyssey from 17th century France to 20th century America, via Spain and Argentina. The elegant baroque stylings of Jean-Philippe Rameau and François Couperin give way to the vivid, impressionist sounds of Claude Debussy and Maurice Ravel. Enrique Granados and Alberto Ginastera add some spicy Latin flair before George Gershwin’s jazzy favourite Rhapsody in Blue closes the show.
