2011, a year in which República da Música was born in the Alvalade district. With a strong motivation to support national music and a space that initially consisted of rehearsal rooms, República da Música quickly became known and talked about. In a short time and in an organic way, it became the venue for the debut of many musical projects that were later recognised at a national level.
