Son of music, Bahia and Dona Estela, Saulo was born in the city of Barreiras, in the interior of Bahia. Influenced by his maternal family, he got to know music very early. At the age of 10, thanks to the encouragement of his uncle Bosco Fernandes, Saulo made his first participation in a public performance, in an electric trio in the city of Barreiras.
