Born and raised in Suburban Oxfordshire before relocating to the Staffordshire Moorlands, Morning's Thief have written songs based ostensibly around subjects such as town planners, the castration of domestic animals and the golden age of railway. In marrying these themes with sometimes bittersweet, often menacing, always off-kilter songwriting they have tried to give voice to the disquiet.
